While most workshops rely on tap water, every vehicle leaving our studio goes through a final rinse using pure, deionized water.
This extra step is what separates a routine wash from a truly premium detailing experience.

What Is Pure Water?

Pure water — also known as deionized (DI) or reverse osmosis (RO) water — is water that has been filtered to remove all minerals and impurities.
It contains zero calcium, magnesium, or chloride, giving it a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) reading close to 0 ppm.
In comparison, Singapore’s tap water typically measures 80–120 ppm.

Why Tap Water Isn’t Ideal for Singapore’s Climate

Singapore’s hot, humid weather causes water to evaporate quickly during washing.
When tap water dries, the minerals left behind create white water spots and stains on paint and glass.
Over time, these spots can etch into the clear coat, dulling the gloss and damaging protective coatings.

Pure water prevents this — even if a car air-dries under the sun, the surface remains crystal-clear and streak-free.
