Car Detailing Prices in Singapore: How a Klar Quote Is Built
Klar publishes one price: the S$88 graphene bonnet trial. Every other service is quoted after a free assessment, because paint condition and correction stages cannot be known without seeing the car. The quote you receive is fixed before work starts.
The S$88 graphene bonnet trial
The trial is a fixed price, S$88. It includes:
- Premium hand wash
- Surface preparation
- Graphene coating on the bonnet
- Water-beading demonstration
- Gloss enhancement treatment
It lets you see KlarGRAPHENE on your own car before choosing a full-car coating. Details are on the graphene bonnet trial page.
How a Klar quote is built
Five factors set the price:
- Car size. A larger car has more paint to prepare and coat.
- Paint condition. New paint needs less preparation than paint with years of washing marks.
- Correction stages. Light defects need one stage; heavier swirl marks and etching can need more.
- Coating line. KlarCOAT ceramic or KlarGRAPHENE, and the number of layers.
- Interior add-ons. KlarINTERIOR, fumigation and similar extras.
This is why two cars of the same model can be quoted differently, and why a price without inspection is only an estimate.
A fixed quote after the free assessment
The professional car assessment is free. We inspect the paint and interior, explain what we see and recommend only what the car needs. You then receive a written quote that is fixed before work starts.
If you would like to compare quotes from other workshops, ask what each includes: preparation, correction, number of coating layers, curing and aftercare. A lower price often means less of one of these. To start, contact us.

Questions about pricing
Why does Klar not publish prices?
Price depends on car size, paint condition, the correction stages needed and the coating chosen, none of which can be known from a model name. A published figure would be a guess. We give a fixed quote after inspecting the car, not before.
Is the quote fixed?
Yes. After the free assessment you receive a quote, and it is fixed before work starts. If we find something unexpected, we explain it first, and nothing is added without your agreement. You are free to decline the quote, and nothing is charged for the assessment.
Why do coating prices vary between workshops?
Product, preparation, correction, application, curing and aftercare all differ. Two quotes for the same coating can include very different amounts of preparation. Compare inclusions and the cover terms, not only the number. Ask each workshop for a written list of inclusions; it makes the comparison fair.
What does the free assessment involve?
We inspect the paint and interior in person, discuss how the car is used and what you want from it, and explain what we recommend and why. There is no charge and no obligation, and we do not hard sell.
Not sure what your paint needs?
Send a few photos on WhatsApp. We book a free assessment at Toh Guan Road East and give you a fixed quote before any work starts.
