KlarINTERIOR

Car Interior Detailing in Singapore: KlarINTERIOR

KlarINTERIOR is a full interior deep clean: controlled-pressure steam, seat shampoo and extraction, leather conditioning and odour treatment. It goes well beyond a vacuum and wipe-down. We suggest it every 6 to 12 months, or quarterly for private-hire vehicles. Every job starts with a free assessment.

What is the difference between interior detailing and a normal clean?

A normal clean removes surface dirt. Interior detailing removes what is held in the materials: soil in seat fabric, oils in leather, residue in carpets and dust in vents. It uses steam, extraction and material-specific products.

The result is a cabin that looks cleaner and smells of nothing in particular, rather than of an air freshener. People spend a good part of the month inside their cars, so it is worth doing properly.

How often should a car interior be detailed?

We suggest every 6 to 12 months for a private car. For ride-hailing and private-hire drivers, whose cabins see constant passengers, quarterly is more suitable.

Families with young children, pet owners and smokers will often prefer the shorter interval. Dust- or odour-sensitive passengers are another reason to detail sooner. Our interior detailing guide lists the signs that a car is due.

How do you clean leather and fabric without damaging them?

Each material is treated separately. Leather is cleaned with a gentle cleaner, then conditioned so it does not dry or crack. Fabric is shampooed and extracted, not soaked. Controlled-pressure steam loosens soiling without saturating the foam beneath.

Harsh household cleaners can strip leather dye and dull trim. The advice in our leather seat care guide applies between visits as well.

Can interior detailing remove odours, smoke and bacteria?

Most odours, yes, once the source is cleaned. Where odour is held in seat foam or carpet, extraction and steam address it. For bacteria and persistent odour we offer NEA-approved aviation-grade anti-bacterial fumigation, described on our interior pest control page.

Deep-set smoke or spill odour can take more than one treatment. We tell you at the assessment what to expect.

Questions about interior detailing

How long does interior detailing take?

It depends on the size of the car and the condition of the cabin, so we confirm the schedule at the free assessment. A heavily soiled cabin, or one with odour treatment, takes longer than a routine refresh. Everything is done by appointment.

How often should I detail my car interior?

Every 6 to 12 months suits most private cars. Ride-hailing and private-hire vehicles are better served quarterly, because of constant passenger use. Pets, children and smoking also point to the shorter interval. Lingering odour, sticky surfaces or dust in the vents are signs that it is due sooner than planned.

Is interior detailing safe for electric and hybrid cars?

Yes. Our interior work is carried out with EV and hybrid-safe processes, including controlled use of steam and moisture around electronics and seat controls. Tesla, BYD and Polestar cars are among those we have worked on. We ask about the model when you book so the right precautions are planned.

Can you remove pet hair and stains?

Pet hair removal and stain treatment are part of KlarINTERIOR. Most stains lift with extraction and steam. Old or dyed stains may lighten rather than disappear, and we say so before the work starts, not after. Tell us about pets, spills or smoking when you book so we can plan the time needed.

Do I need fumigation as well as interior detailing?

Not for every car. Detailing handles dirt, stains and most odours. Fumigation is added where there are bacteria concerns, persistent odour or pest signs. We advise at the assessment, and you decide whether to include it. It is an add-on, never a default. Tell us what you have noticed in the cabin.
